Today Eurogamer Retro has a special treat for fans of the late, great Sensible Software: the chance to download the first half of the 52-minute Sex 'n' Drugs 'n' Rock 'n' Roll concept album.

Sensible's Jon Hare has written a fascinating account of the development of Sex 'n' Drugs and how it contributed to the company's downfall, and at the end you can get your hands on the first half of the resulting album.

All Jon and we ask in exchange is that you consider making a small contribution - five pounds or so - to Cancer Research UK in memory of Richard Joseph, Jon's great friend and the musician responsible for much of the work on the album, who passed away in March 2007.
