Dishonored and Doom 3 BFG Edition playable at Eurogamer Expo

Get the UK's first public hands-on with Bethesda's latest.

Thick and fast. That's how we like our Eurogamer Expo announcements now that everyone's signing them off and we can tell you what to expect. This morning we announced that Halo 4 is playable and Frank O'Connor from 343 Industries is doing a developer session. This afternoon we can add that Dishonored and Doom 3 BFG Edition will both be playable too!

Yesterday Dishonored received our Gamescom Game of the Show award and it really does look like one of the games of the year in prospect. It's Arkane Studios doing 'the Looking Glass thing' about as well as anyone in recent memory, unleashing you on the city of Dunwall as Corvo, a supernatural assassin seeking revenge. Dishonored's publicly playable for the first time in the UK at the Expo.

Doom 3 BFG Edition needs little introduction either. It's the remastered version of id Software's last instalment in the Doom series, complete with Resurrection of Evil add-on (also remastered) and some new levels bundled up under the heading "The Lost Mission". Plus you also get Doom 1 and 2 in the pack. You'll be able to see how the update looks and go hands-on with it throughout the show.

What show is that, you say? Why, the Eurogamer Expo, taking place from 27th-30th September this year at Earls Court, London. Check out all the announcements to see what's there, and make sure to head over to the official site to grab your tickets.
