Dino Dini's new Kick Off looks like Kick Off should

Goal!

Dino Dini's released screenshots of Kick Off Revival, and it looks like Kick Off should.

The screenshots, below, show off a pre-alpha version of the game, which is due out exclusively on PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2016. It's early days, then, but you can see Kick Off's trademark top-down visuals are present and correct.

Dino Dini's Kick Off Revival is due out a whopping 25 years after the release of Kick Off 2. It has online play.

Dino Dini, creator of Kick Off, is working on the game, which is published by The Digital Lounge (Another World - 20th Anniversary Edition). Dini's worked under the radar for years. What's he been up to?

After the release of Dino Dini's Soccer in 1993, Dini worked in the US for various companies before returning to the UK in 2001. During the next five years he worked with Trecision in Italy and DC Studios in Canada on two separate football game projects, which failed to reach market before the supporting companies "ran into financial difficulties" during a "turbulent period in the industry".

Then, from 2007 to 2015, he worked as a teacher at a vocational university in the Netherlands teaching video game programming. He's now working full time on Kick Off Revival with the support of Sony.
