Devil May Cry dev Ninja Theory's next game is Fightback

Free-to-play action with an '80s action movie vibe - for mobile.

Ninja Theory, the UK studio responsible for the recent Devil May Cry reboot, Enslaved and Heavenly Sword, is trying its hand at mobile games with Fightback.

Fightback will be published on the App Store and Google Play by EA-owned mobile specialist Chillingo.

Fightback, out this summer, is described as a free-to-play action game with an '80s action movie vibe. There's a touch-based combat system, too. A screenshot is below.

Ninja Theory product manager Dominic Matthews said: "Mobile and tablet gaming is a phenomenon that we just couldn't ignore as a studio and we're very proud to be working with one of the industry's heavy-weights on bringing Fightback to market.

"Ninja Theory has always strived for the highest production values and that absolutely remains the case in this exciting new space."
