Destiny's timed-exclusive PlayStation content shown off in new footage

"Timed exclusive until at least fall 2015."

Bungie has shown off the full range of timed-exclusive extras for Destiny owners on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Always read the small print.

The meatiest morsels of the package are the Dust Palace Strike and the Exodus Blue competitive multiplayer map - but we've known about these for a while.

What else will you get? The list amounts to an armour set for each class, two weapons and three ship designs:

  • Dust Palace Strike and Exodus Blue competitive map
  • Gear sets: Titan Vanir, Hunter Argus, Warlock Manifold
  • Guns: Monte Carlo exotic auto rifle, Hawkmoon exotic hand cannon
  • Ship designs: Aurora Wake, Crypt Hammer, Outrageous Fortune

It's unlikely that many Xbox 360 or Xbox One owners will be too disappointed not to have the content - and it's worth remembering that it is all only exclusive for so long.

Bungie's small print at the trailer's end re-iterates what Activision told us previously - that the content is actually just "timed exclusive until at least fall 2015."

The content is being advertised elsewhere simply as "PlayStation exclusive" - a little cheeky - but the above explanation is probably easier to understand than Microsoft's own "holiday 2015 exclusively on Xbox" line for Tomb Raider.
