Destiny's big update 2.0 is now live

RIP Dinklebot, Gjallarhorn.

Destiny's big update 2.0 is now live.

'Wizards and moons and crafty Fallen.'

It's pretty hefty (18GB on PS4) so sit back, relax and maybe play something else that doesn't eat up your bandwidth.

Destiny's patch makes sweeping changes to the game. Dinklebot is no more. Now, meet Northbot. RIP Dinklebot.

Weapons have been nerfed and buffed. Exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn is no longer cream of the crop. RIP Gjallarhorn.

On the plus side, all Destiny players can try out the new PVP maps added with expansion The Taken King from today for one week.

Welcome to Destiny Year Two, Guardians. The patch notes are over at Bungie.net.
