Destiny now available to pre-purchase on Xbox One

Choose either the standard or Digital Guardian Edition.

Xbox One owners can now pre-purchase their copy of Destiny, Microsoft has announced.

The game's standard version, the Destiny Pre-Order Edition, costs £54.99.

Alternatively you can select the Destiny Digital Guardian Edition for £84.99. This option includes a Season Pass for the two upcoming Destiny expansions, as well as a selection of minor exclusive items.

Destiny doesn't launch until 9th September, but anyone who has the game pre-downloaded will be able to begin playing at 12:01am BST.

Once you've purchased the game you can activate its download on your Xbox One by selecting the "Manage" button on the product details page.

Earlier today, Destiny developer Bungie detailed the handful of items which are timed-exclusive for PlayStation 3 and 4 versions of the game.
