Deadpool game returns to Steam
As movie hype train speeds up.Activision's Deadpool game has quietly returned to Steam over a year after it disappeared from sale.

In January 2014 Activision pulled a slew of its Marvel games from sale on Steam, Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, including High Moon Studios' Deadpool, Beenox's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Silicon Knights' ill-fated X-Men Destiny and Raven Software's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Now, Deadpool is back up on Steam, where you can buy it for £29.99. It seems to be a one-off - Deadpool is yet to return to the Xbox Marketplace or the PlayStation Store.
So why has Activision singled out Deadpool? Perhaps it's an attempt to cash in on the growing hype surrounding the Deadpool movie, which stars Ryan Reynolds as the foul-mouthed anti-hero and is due out February 2016.
The video game had "enough inspired wackiness to make your first play-through worthwhile", according to Dan Whitehead's Deadpool review.
