Cooking Mama 2 dated
Now with multiplayer.
It's been confirmed that a sequel to culinary-themed simulation game Cooking Mama is heading to Nintendo DS and will be popping out of the oven early next year.
Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends is said to feature "even tastier" gameplay, 150 mini-games and 80 original recipes. You can create your own dishes and other characters will judge them on flavour and presentation. Mama, of course, will be on hand to offer advice and snide comments.
There's an all-new multiplayer mode which allows up to four players to compete against each other in mini-games. Only one copy of the game will be required to have a go.
You can customise the look of the game using graphics and stickers you collect as you play, and keep track of your culinary triumphs in your personal diary.
Rumours of a rival Gordon Ramsay-endorsed cooking game titled F***ing Mama: Put Your B******s On are entirely made-up.
