Code Lyoko for Wii

TV series gets digital treatment.

Game Factory has confirmed that French television series, Code Lyoko, is being fiddled with for release on Wii at the end of this year.

The game will be based around the fourth season of the animated show, which follows a group of four students who each lead double lives, posing as both ordinary students in the real world, and heroes inside the digital and parallel world of Lyoko.

It will be developed exclusively for Wii by Neko Entertainment, which aims harness the power of the unique controls to deliver a blend of adventure, combat, platform and racing gameplay.

There'll be more than 40 levels to romp through, a bucket of skills to choose from, puzzles to solve, bosses to fight, and the new series-four vehicle to delve into the sea with.

"We are thrilled to be bringing Code Lyoko to life on Wii," said Henrik Mathiasen, Game Factory's president. "Fans of Code Lyoko, and those new to the series, will be able to immerse themselves in the game in new and exciting ways using Wii's unique controls and gorgeous graphics."
