Chrono Cross coming to Japanese PSN

You know what to do.

Cult Square Enix role-playing game Chrono Cross will release as a download from the Japanese PlayStation Network.

Chrono Cross is the sequel to Chrono Trigger – considered by many to be the greatest Japanese role-playing game ever made.

The PlayStation One game was first released in 1999 in Japan. A year later it launched in the US. It was never released in Europe.

The Chrono Cross announcement is the result of the Square Enix Members Twitter account reaching 20,000 followers, Andriasang reports. Producer Shinji Hashimoto, who manages the Square Enix Members Twitter, failed to mention when the game would launch.

The game's release is limited to the Japanese PlayStation Store, but it's not impossible to create a Japanese PS3 account, is it?
