Celebrity Guitar Hero controllers

Selling for charity now on eBay.

Celebrities from all over our little round planet have teamed up to sign and design Guitar Hero II PS2 controllers, which will be sold on eBay to support the MusiCares charity.

It's the brain child of Activision and Red Bull, who've enlisted the likes of Tenacious D (Jack Back and Kyle Glass), Nickelback and My Chemical Romance. But perhaps the most outlandish creation we've seen so far comes from Tony Hawk, who strapped a ruddy-great skateboard to the neck of his peripheral.

The guitars all have starting bids of US$ 100 and will run until 13th April, at which point the winning bidders will be selected and have their prize specimens shipped off, complete with their very own letters of authenticity.

Power-chord your way over to the eBay listings to look at all of the artists' creations.

MusiCare is a charity that supports musicians in times of financial, personal or medical need. Head over to the MusiCare website for more information.
