Castlevania: Lord of Shadow 2 release date announced

Konami has announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 28th February 2014.
The second and final instalment in MercurySteam's take on the Belmont clan's vampire-busting adventures promises to be a bit more open than the linear-but-enjoyable original, and also adds to the combat system.
As Jeffrey explained in our Lords of Shadow 2 preview at E3, the magic system has been overhauled with the addition of the Void Sword and Chaos Claws - colour-coded weapons that have certain advantages in specific scenarios and have their own move-sets.
There's also the promise of a new Mastery system, where you can level weapons and abilities, although we didn't get to sample that at E3.
