Buy three months of Xbox Live Gold and get a free month of Xbox Game Pass

£14.99 for the lot.

Those of you wanting to check out some of what the Xbox One has to offer without buying each and every console exclusive as they get released might just have a better option on the cards this week, thanks to an Amazon UK bundle deal for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass.

Currently, you can pick up a three-month membership for Xbox Live Gold for its regular price of £14.99 and get a bonus free month of Xbox Game Pass for your troubles. For the uninitiated, Xbox Game Pass is the extra membership that will get you access to a library of Xbox games whenever you like.

The timing of this offer does mean that you could use that free month of Xbox Game Pass to try out both Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2, which releases on 22nd May, both of which are available on the Game Pass service. Once that initial month runs out, you're not tied to any kind of contract, so you can just count it as a rather nice month-long treat of games if you fancy.

Elsewhere on Amazon's Xbox-related deals, you can also grab yourself a digital download of Just Cause 3 for £6.25 for a limited time. That's a lot of game for not a lot of cash and honestly, everyone needs a little bit more Rico Rodriguez in their lives.

Meanwhile, over at Jelly Deals, you can check out the rest of today's best deals, which so far have included L.A. Noire on Switch for £22, Assassin's Creed Oranges for £25 and more. For something a little different, you can check out the recent Reading List guide to the best new books for this month, if you feel like expanding your horizons.
