BlazBlue: CS2 confirmed for 3DS

Brawler sequel goes portable.

Beat 'em up sequel BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II has been announced for Nintendo 3DS.

News of the follow up to Arc System Works ace 2010 fighter popped up at a Nintendo event in Tokyo this weekend.

No details have been confirmed yet other than the info card posted below.

According to Andriasang, the text on the card translates as "Fighting Game + Visual Novel", perhaps hinting at a slightly different approach to the straight scrapping of the original.

The game has already been confirmed for the PSP, with that version due in Japanese stores in March.

The original game belatedly launched in Europe on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last month, scoring a muscular 8/10 from Eurogamer's Matt Edwards.

Things are looking bright for fighter fans on the 3DS. On top of this, there's Street Fighter IV 3D and Dead or Alive: Dimensions to look forward to as well.
