Assassin's Creed Origins - The False Oracle

Everything you need to know about stealthing and stabbing your way along the Nile.

The False Oracle is the second quest you'll encounter in Assassin's Creed Origins, which has you tackle assssinate a target for the first time, and follows on from The Oasis.

The False Oracle

We'd recommend doing a few sidequests before moving on with the story, in particular Gear Up to get yourself some better armour, and Family Reunion as it takes place in the same location as this so will help familiarise you with the lay of the land. We'd also suggest doing it at night time as it makes the whole process much simpler.

Head towards the marker. When you get near you'll be prompted to send Senu out to scout ahead; use him to look for your target.

If it's night Medunamun will be asleep in the small room on the eastern side of the Temple, but during the day he'll be patrolling the grounds. If you've got for the cover of darkness, then climb up the eastern wall and use your bow to take out the guard on the balcony outside then head into the room and catch your quarry unawares.

Once the flashback starts head towards the marker then send Senu out to mark your target. Take it out with your bow, loot the carcass, then head for the next marker. When you arrive a cutscene will play, followed by a fight that it's intentionally impossible to win.
