Last of the Medjay

The story is all wrapped up now, so it's time to settle back and… Oh, wait.

Another short quest - speak to Aya in the underground hideout, and then meet her on the peninsula in Alexandria.

Back to the present day and some more exposition that makes more sense if you're familiar with the AC lore. Once the conversation is over there's not really a lot you can do here, so jump back in the Animus when you're ready.

Fall Of an Empire, Rise of Another

There's one last piece of the conspiracy to be dealt with; every story has a beginning and we now get to witness the events that gave birth to the franchise.

Proceedings open with another sea battle; the first wave is business as usual, but the second set of opponents include large numbers of fireships. If they hit you they'll do a lot of damage very quickly so they should be your first target - they only take a single shot to sink, so try and take out several with a single volley by sweeping your targetting reticule across them whilst mashing the fire button.

Now you're ashore, it's time to take Septimius down for good. It's essentially a repeat of your earlier fight with him, but you've not got any fancy weapons and his chains now have a stunlock effect so it's even more important to avoid them.

Stealth or fight your way through the courtyard towards the marker. We won't spoil it by going into details of what happens inside, but when you arrive the story is both over, and just beginning…

Birth of the Creed

Watch the cutscene, and then get out there and finish off the million and one things that are likely still littering your map!
