Two more Chocobo games for DS

Square Enix flapping about Euro plans.

Square Enix has told us that European plans for the two new Chocobo DS games are still being talked about.

Chocobo and the Magic Storybook: The Witch and the Girl and the Five Valiant Men and Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: The Labyrinth of Forgotten Time DS Plus will be out in Japan this winter, according to a Kotaku translation of IT Media.

The former game is an adventure while the latter is a DS version of the Chocobo's Dungeon game on Wii.

Chocobo are the yellow bird things Final Fantasy characters ride around on. They, like the one on Sesame Street, have since become very popular in their own right.

More on the games may trickle out at E3 next week, but the main focus will be on Final Fantasy XII - which we will be seeing and writing about as soon as we can.
