Try iPhone Katamari, Puzzle Quest free

Plus: full versions of both now just a fiver.

Take a look at the iTunes App Store today and you'll see free trial versions of I Love Katamari and Puzzle Quest.

This coincides with a crafty price cut for Puzzle Quest, which drops to five pounds - the same price as Katamari.

Both are conversions of very popular and acclaimed handheld/console games, as you may or may not know. Both also have had similar port-quality issues on iTunes: complaints of poor performance, bad graphics and rickety gameplay are rife.

Both, however, are being fixed. I Love Katamari has already received a couple of patches, and TransGaming, the Puzzle Quest handler, has promised fixes plus a good will gesture of making the next chapter completely free.

Happy days, hopefully.
