The end of "First Impressions"

Because we meant "Hands On" anyway.

Hello blog readers! Today you may have noticed a small change in how we label certain previews. We're retiring the "First Impressions" moniker in favour of "Hands On", since that is what we were using it for anyway, and we wanted to avoid ambiguity.

This means that from now on, preview features like today's Metal Gear Solid 4 piece will be labelled "Hands On", while any previews that haven't involved actually playing the game for ourselves will be labelled "Preview".

Obviously we spent years and years considering the ins and outs of this, and I thought regular readers would be interested in an explanation. Stay safe, stay second amendment.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. Read our policy.
