The Conduit 2 gets MotionPlus support

Optional precision controls for Wii FPS.

SEGA has announced that The Conduit 2 will include support for Wii MotionPlus.

High Voltage Software's upcoming first-person shooter sequel was already expected to follow in its predecessor's footsteps by offering a broad range of control customisation options, so MotionPlus is a logical extension of that.

"Wii MotionPlus is something that the fans have been asking for since it was announced - we looked at it for the original game, took a look at its implementation in other titles, and ultimately felt that we could add to the experience in Conduit 2 by supporting it," said High Voltage CCO Eric Nofsinger.

"It's by no means required - gamers will have a great experience without it - but it does offer a level of extra control and adds value to those with the accessory."

The Conduit 2 takes place in Atlantis and promises huge boss fights, player upgrades (e.g. robo-legs for faster movement), and a new four-player co-op mode called Invasion that works online and in split-screen.

The original Conduit meant well but ultimately floundered and we gave it 5/10. Don't write off the sequel though.

Oh, and as is obligatory, The Conduit 2 will be at E3 next week.
