How to start Request 41 'An Elegant Tail' in Pokémon Legends Arceus

An Elegant Tail is unlocked as soon as you unlock the Cobalt Coastlands area; it's a relatively simple one, especially for fans of the franchise who will immediately figure out which curly-tailed Pokémon, Asabei - a character standing on the small hill northwest of the south gate - is after.

Where to start Request 41 in Jubilife Village.

Asabei wants you to catch a Pokémon he saw a glimpse of from behind some rocks. He's not sure what it was, but he was bewitched by it's "elegant tail".

In short, go catch a Glameow and bring it back to him in return for an amusing scene and a somewhat more tangible reward: an Aux Evasion and two Grit Gravel.

Glameow locations in Pokémon Legends Arceus explained

The legwork in Request 41: An Elegant Tail is quite straightforward.

Simply head to the Crossing Slope or Veilstone Cape, although you'll come across the Slope way before the Cape as it's the first area you'll come across when you first visit the Cobalt Coastlands. Simply head straight out the camp, heading ever so slightly to the right, and Glameow will likely be the first Pokémon you come across.

Glameow is a relatively skittish Pokémon, so sneak up on it, chuck a Pokéball and do your thing. If you miss the first one, head down towards the beach and you'll spot a few more, and even a Purugly, Glameow's evolved form, if you're lucky.

Once you've nabbed your Glameow (and you're done catching whatever else you came to the Coastlands to do), head back to where you found Asabei (to the northwest of Jubilife's south gate) for an amusing scene and your reward!

Good luck catching Glameow!
