Red Dead still riding high in UK charts

World Cup second, Blur sneaks into top 10.

Red Dead Redemption held onto its top spot in the UK All-Formats chart this week while 2010 FIFA World Cup moved back up to second.

UFC Undisputed 2010 slipped to third and there was a new entry for The Sims 3: Ambitions expansion pack at six.

Otherwise the top 10 had a familiar look to it, with Just Dance and Wii Fit Plus in fourth and fifth, and Modern Warfare 2, Wii Sports Resort and Lost Planet 2 in seventh, eighth and ninth respectively.

Activision's Blur crept up to 10th following its disappointing 14th-placed debut last week, ahead of racing rivals ModNation Racers (11th) and Split/Second: Velocity (down to 13th from six).

This week's only other new entries were Rooms: The Main Building on DS, which arrived in 12th place, and Pure Football, which landed in 36th.

P.S. If Red Dead holds on next week, we promise to stop using "riding high" and derivatives in the headline. Although whether we will need to is unknown, since Super Mario Galaxy 2 is out on Friday.
