Undiluted and unrepentant. This week: 1080, EVE, X2: The Threat, Klonoa 2 and more.

However big or small, around here we always like to inject a little personality into a task or comment. After all, the best games are noted for the strength of the overall experience they offer, and that includes every little link, corridor texture and transition animation.

On the other hand, it's Monday morning. And if you're expecting a composed or insightful link at this time on a Monday morning then you're a harsh, smouldering geyser of hostility and need to be corked. Or to explode like Mount St. Helens and smother some farms.

Are you with me? Then perhaps you can help me - spurred on by my own desire to avoid the crush today, I've found myself wondering whether I've seen Monday morning type moments borne out in any games lately, and whether Rise of the Machines and Crouching Tiger were basically made entirely during the hours of eight and ten on Mondays.

That aside, you're probably wondering about this week's prize. Fear not, it's neither T3 nor CT. It just so happens that the lucky winner gets that copy of Hardware: Online Arena from the other week - after a previous winner claimed to have no PS2. Keep writing for next week though, because there's talk of a prize so wonderful and mysterious that it might even be worth fighting for... Good luck. And, as ever, thanks for all your submissions.

P.S. Mrs. Biscuit sends her regards.

The Rules

Reader Reviews should be submitted to contact@eurogamer.net, and can be written about anything you like - hardware, games, peripherals - even if we've already written about it. In fact, that's kind of the point! Your word limit is 300 although we'll tolerate a bit of overflow if you can string words together nicely, and please try to keep it clean and legal. Just like we do for you! The best candidate each week will receive a random bit of game-related tat (possibly even an actual game) as a prize. Lucky, lucky you. And of course, your work will be displayed for all to see.
