Request 69 'Gone Astray…in the Highlands' in Pokémon Legends Arceus explained

Going for a Wanda.

Gone Astray... in the Highlands is a mid-game request in Pokémon Legends Arceus.

This one is Request 69. Galaxy Team member Zeke is looking for his sister Wanda, who seems to have gone missing in the Coronet Highlands.

Note that because this quest unlocks after a main mission, there may be some spoilers ahead.

How to unlock Request 69 'Gone Astray...in the Highlands' in Pokémon Legends Arceus

This request is part of the 'Gone Astray' series. Wanda has a bit of a habit of wanda-ing off, and her brother Zeke repeatedly asks you to make use of Ursaluna to find her. You can see when this happens in our Pokémon Legends Arceus walkthrough.

The first in the series, 'Gone Astray... in the Mirelands' will unlock after you have completed the main mission to befriend Ursaluna.

Zeke will give it to you just inside the Galaxy Hall.

After that, you will also need to complete 'Gone Astray... in the Coastlands.' This only unlocks after you have the ability to ride on Basculegion.

Following the theme, Gone Astray... in the Highlands will only unlock if you can ride on Sneasler. Once you can, and you have completed the Coastlands entry, you can once again speak to Zeke in the Galaxy Hall entranceway.

If you just completed the Coastlands quest and already have the ability to use Sneasler, you may need to leave the village for a short while for the request to unlock.

How to complete Request 69 'Gone Astray... in the Highlands' in Pokémon Legends Arceus

This time, Wanda is missing in the Coronet Highlands. The basic mechanic for these quests is to hop on Ursaluna and look for the blue radar lines, which will lead you to Wanda. Make sure to track the quest for those lines to show up.

Head to the Coronet Highlands. If you have the Mountain Camp unlocked, this is a good place to start from. From there, Ursaluna's radar will tell you that you are already close to Wanda's location. Otherwise, head for the Lonely Spring area on the eastern side of the map.

Wanda is stuck on a cliff overlooking the eastern coast of the highlands. You can see her precise location on the maps below.

Look down to spot her!

Climb down using Sneasler and speak to her. She will be grateful for the lift back up in Sneasler's basket.

Once you have brought her onto level ground again, return to Zeke to complete the quest.

Our Pokémon Legends Arceus walkthrough will help you pick a starter Pokémon and win the Kleavor boss fight. You’re also tasked with filling the Hisui Pokédex by obtaining new evolutions like Kleavor by evolving Scyther, Wyrdeer by evolving Stantler, Sneasler by evolving Hisui Sneasel and Overquil by evolving Hisui Qwilfish. There’s a host of new evolution methods, including ones for the Eevee evolutions. Take the time to complete Requests too, such as The Sea’s Legend, Wurmple’s Evolved! and finding the Wisp locations. Don’t forget to track down every Unown location too.

Gone Astray... in the Highlands reward

Zeke will thank you for once again rescuing Wanda.

He will give you two Star Pieces for your trouble. These will go into your satchel, or your storage if that is full.

Star Pieces can be sold to any of the merchants in the game for 5000 Pokébucks.
