Pokémon Legends Arceus - Crunchy Salt locations for Request 61 explained

Even More New Wares is the third request in an on-going number of store missions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Coming in at Request 61, you'll need to complete Request 23 and then finish Request 43 before you can get going.

To unlock Request 61, you lso need to have started the main story Mission 11 Scaling Perilous Heights, then talk to general store owner Choy in Jubilife Village.

Then, to complete the quest, you need to find an item - Crunchy Salt.

Crunchy Salt locations in Pokémon Legends Arceus

To finish the request, you need to find three Crunchy Salt.

The simplest way to obtain three Crunchy Salt is by going to Anvin at the craftworks and purchasing them for a total of 600 Poké Dollars. The craftworks is marked by a hammer on the Jubilife Village map, which we've highlighted below.

If you would rather find Crunchy Salt locations yourself, the best place to go is Coronet Highlands.

Get far enough into the Scaling Perilous Heights Mission and you'll be given the rideable companion Sneasler, which can be used to scale cliff faces.

Head over to the Ancient Quarry location in the Coronet Highlands, and where our red player marker is on the map below should net you two lots of Crunchy Salt, as also seen in the in-game image as well.

At the top of steep cliffs like the one is where you'll often find Crunchy Salt, which helps you complete this request and can be used for crafting materials as well. We've marked another nearby Crunchy Salt location near Celestica Trail in more images below. With any luck that should be all three accounted for.

Remember, the fall damage required to faint and lose items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is quite low, so climb back down with Sneasler instead of jumping off high cliffs. Otherwise you'll lose those Crunchy Salts.

There’s a host of new evolution methods, including ones for the Eevee evolutions. Take the time to complete Requests too, such as The Sea’s Legend, Wurmple’s Evolved! and finding the Wisp locations. Don’t forget to track down every Unown location too.

Complete Request 61 and 'Even More New Wares' rewards

Head back into Jubilife Village and go into Galaxy Hall. Talk to Tao Hua in the basement level and you'll have almost finished, just go back outside to Choy at the general store and he'll now be stocking even more items for you to purchase.

For completing the request, four new items will be available at the general store, which include:

  • Leaden Ball
  • Wing Ball
  • Max Potion
  • Bean Cake

From here, to get Request 71 and obtain even more items in the store, you need to have completed this request and started the main mission The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra.
