Pokémon Go Kalos Celebration Event research quest: How to complete each quest tasks and field research

Generation 6 has arrived in Pokémon Go!

The Kalos Celebration Event research quest is a timed research quest that celebrates the release of Gen 6 in Pokémon Go!

This research quest will challenge you to track down and catch the new Gen 6 Pokémon for a variety of rewards, including Mega Energy for multiple Pokémon.

You'll also be able to collect a number of field research tasks exclusive to the Kalos Celebration event, which will not only help you complete the timed research, but add entries to the Kalos section of your Pokédex.

Below you'll find all of the challenges and rewards that the Kalos Celebration Event research quest consists of. Be careful, however, as this section does contain spoilers, so, if you'd rather be surprised, we recommend skipping this section.

It's also important to remember that Kalos Celebration Event research will only be available during the Kalos Celebration event and, once that event ends, this research quest will disappear and never return. This means that if you want any of the rewards listed below, you need to complete those challenges before the end of the event.
