Below you'll find the A Melemele Adventure special research quest steps and rewards in Pokémon Go.

Since this is a special research quest, you can complete it at your own pace, but we recommend completing it before Wednesday, 1st June. This is because if you complete A Melemele Adventure, along with the other research quests themed around the Alola region, you'll be granted free access to the end-of-season event.

Be careful, however, the section below does contain spoilers.

'A Melemele Adventure' Step 1 of 4

• Catch 10 Pokémon - Alolan Rattata encounter
• Send 3 Gifts and add a sticker to each - 10 Poké Balls
• Catch 5 Normal-type Pokémon - Yungoos encounter

Rewards: 500 XP, 500 Stardust and 10 Pinap Berries

'A Melemele Adventure' Step 2 of 4

• Take a snapshot of a wild Pokémon - 5 Razz Berries
• Use 7 Berries to help catch Pokémon - 10 Great Balls
• Catch 10 Pokémon - Pikipek encounter

Rewards: 500 XP, 500 Stardust and 1 Charged TM

• Catch 6 Normal-type Pokémon - Yungoos encounter
• Catch 3 different species of Normal-type Pokémon - Yungoos encounter
• Spin 5 PokéStops or Gyms - Alolan Raticate encounter

Rewards: 1000 XP, 1000 Stardust and 1 Premium Battle Pass

The World of Wonders season has come to Pokémon Go, which has brought Sustainability Week, and the World of Wonders quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.

How A Melemele Adventure works in Pokémon Go

A Melemele Adventure was released as part of the Welcome to Alola event in Pokémon Go, but, as long as you play the game before Wednesday 1st June, you'll unlock this quest.

It's the first in a set of four special research quests themed around the Alola region, with the others focusing on Akala Island, Ula'ula Island and Poni Island. If all four research quests are completed before Wednesday, 1st June, then you'll be granted free access to an end-of-season event for the Season of Alola.

This doesn't, however, mean that A Melemele Adventure, or any other of special research quests in the set, have a deadline, so, if you'd prefer to take them at your own pace, you can do so.

A Melemele Adventure consists of four quest steps and, like all research quests in Pokémon Go, you must complete the three challenges for each step, along with collecting the rewards, to progress.
