Patchwork Heroes revealed for PSP

Looking pretty as a picture so far.

Sony's lifted the lid on Patchwork Heroes, a new PSP game that has colourful and eye-catching looks. Wolf whistle.

Revealed on Europe's PlayStation blog, Patchwork Heroes challenges players to destroy an enormous warship before it can descend upon and destroy your city.

How? Cut it apart, obviously.

You'll be flown onto the vessel and deposited there, and you must avoid on-board defences and rescue hostages while ploughing through the ship's hull - this looks similar to blowtorching a hole in Worms, judging by the first screenshots.

Win.

Do enough damage and it's job done: city saved, level cleared.

Patchwork Heroes will be released this spring via the PlayStation Network for PSP.
