Patapon demo today in Europe/US

Brought forward to win your hearts.

Sony has brought forward the release of the European Patapon PSP demo to today, 14th February, the publisher confirmed to Eurogamer this morning.

This brings it into line with the US demo date announced on the official Sony blog overnight.

You should be able to download it from the PSP Store for PC whenever Sony's FTP elves pull their stuff together later today.

As you will know by now, the demo is a "save-to-final" demo, which means that progress made can be transferred to the full game. A bit like Doom and Quake did 400 years ago.

You can also download it from the PS3 Store, says Sony's blog, and then copy it to a Memory Stick to play it on your PSP.

The full game is due out here on 22nd February, and you can read our Patapon review to find out what it's all about.

Or this paragraph, which says that it's a side-scrolling rhythm-response strategy game from the maker of LocoRoco.
