Nintendo lists early DSi Shop line-up

Art Style! WarioWare! A Pyoro!

Nintendo has listed the first batch of games to be made available from the DSi Shop, which launches with new hardware on Friday.

We know of a few, but those new to us are Paper Plane and Art Style: CODE. The former has players guide a folded craft around a maze, while the latter uses the DSi like a book and needs digits rearranging to add up to 10. They then disappear. This gets harder.

Art Style: Aquite is the first of the batch we do know about, and involves helping a diver to the bottom of the sea. Then there's Pyoro, a bird, who must use his tongue to catch fruit falling from the top of the screen. Miss and the fruit leaves a hole in the ground, shrinking the movement area. But get hit in the head and it's game over.

WarioWare: Snapped! will be there. We heard about this during the Satoru Iwata Nintendo GDC keynote, and saw examples of the wacky, camera-based, mini-games on offer.

Finally, there will be the Nintendo DSi Opera Browser for scouting around the internet.

Exact dates and prices aren't mentioned, but we do know DSi applications and games will be either 200 Nintendo Points (GBP 1.40 / EUR 2), 500 NP (GBP 3.50 / EUR 5) or 800+ points NP (GBP 5.60 / EUR 8). We also know Nintendo plans to refresh the DSi Shop weekly, and that DSi buyers will get 1000 free Nintendo Points (GBP 7 / EUR 10) to spend.
