EGTV: Video round-up

Bully, FIFA, Just Cause and more.

As far as generating relentless free publicity is concerned, the achievements of Rockstar's Bully have been nothing short of astonishing. Bear in mind how long all those sour-faced lefties have been whining on about it; now consider that only today does Rockstar deign to release the first formal trailer of its terribly-controversial-but-will-it-be-any-good PS2 schoolyard romp.

LucasArts president Jim Ward is in the EGTV interview hot seat this week, and has a few choice words on how the industry runs itself as well as giving us the lowdown on how he believes the US firm's investment in technology is revolutionising next-gen gameplay. Be sure to check out parts one and two.

With this weekend's Charity Shield clash signalling the kick off of the new Premiership campaign, what better time to release a brand new FIFA 07 trailer? Watch it and wish the Special One harm.

A next-gen title well worth keeping an eye on is Eidos' Just Cause, which surprised and impressed in its jack-of-all-genres E3 guise and at this stage is looking a rather tasty prospect – as this new gameplay footage testifies.

PC gamers feeling a little left out can take comfort in a fresh glimpse of Codemasters' MMO monster Archlord, in a new video showing off the game's mounts, and an updated look at THQ's Company of Heroes, this week focusing on Axis Armour.

Finally, a triumvirate of tasty PSP fare this week offers glimpses of two new instalments of massive franchises, in the shape of Midway's Mortal Kombat Unchained, and EA's Medal of Honor: Heroes, while Capcom offers up the delicious prospect of Ultimate Ghosts 'n' Goblins – classic action all to the tune of that music.
