New Warriors trailer

Now on Eurofiles.

A new trailer for The Warriors, Rockstar's forthcoming gangster epic for PS2 and Xbox, is now available on Eurofiles.

The game is based on Walter Hill's 1979 cult film, which takes place one fateful night in New York when Coney Island gang the Warriors are wrongly accused of murdering local gangland legend Cyrus.

They've got to make it all the way back to Coney from the Upper Bronx without getting done over - which isn't going to be easy, since every other gang from all five boroughs is on the warpath and out for revenge.

Cue lots of really rather excellent fighting scenes, trash talking and jumping on and off subway trains, all accompanied by a top class seventies soundtrack.

The trailer confirms that all our favourite Warriors - including Ajax, Cowboy, Cleon, Rembrandt and Swan - will be making an appearance in the game, sporting their fetching leather waistcoats and amusing haircuts once again. There's even a CGI Cyrus, too, going "Can you dig it?" just like in the movie. Absolutely, sir. The Warriors is due out in the autumn.
