RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 demo

Build and then ride your own coasters. Woo!

Our friends at Atari have released a demo of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 this week, giving you the chance to see how Frontier Developments has fared dragging Chris Sawyer's theme park-'em-up into three dimensions.

We haven't had a chance to tackle it in depth yet, but we couldn't resist having a peek at the Coaster Cam, which puts you in the place of a park-goer as he or she soars around gloriously lively 3D rollercoasters. Yes it's silly. Yes it's fun. Yes it's probably worth downloading the demo for alone.

You can jump into the Coaster Cam on a pre-rolled coaster by playing through the tutorials, of which there are three, and there's also a demo level - "A Taste Of Paradise" - which you can tackle for up to 45 minutes on Apprentice difficulty.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 should be out in November, and you can download the 184MB demo from Eurofiles here.
