EGTV: Video round-up

Flying lessens.

Before cracking on with the rundown of this week's televisual gaming treats, having flown back home from Leipzig this morning via Shame Air, we'd just like to give you a taster of the exclusive video content from the conference coming up on Eurogamer TV.

A dedicated video feature on the mammoth European gaming showcase will be bursting onto your Internet box next week, and this will be supplemented with exclusive interviews with the biggest names, incuding Euro Xbox boss Chris Lewis, Gabe Newell, Peter Molyneux, Mark Rein, Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil, id Software and many more.

And, thanks to our roving cameraperv James's wandering 'artistic eye', the glorious return of booth babes to a major gaming event was also captured in all its incredibly distracting glory for your future delectation.

But back to this week, and EGTV brought you coverage of two of the biggest announcements of the show - the full on-stage presentation of new Wii title Mario Strikers Charged, and a report on Microsoft's highly significant scoop of PES and FIFA exclusivity, with exclusive reaction from head of Xbox Europe Chris Lewis.

Elsewhere, a raft of top titles was treated to new trailers to coincide with the German event - UT 2007 and Quake Wars (G.D.F and Strogg) should cater nicely for the shooter fans amongst you. Ubisoft's Source engine-powered fantasy first-person action title Dark Messiah continues to impress in new footage; while the return of Command & Conquer in Tiberium Wars is also showing promise.

Adventure gaming fans have a new instalment of Revolution's excellent Broken Sword series, a new movie looking at the manuscript and PDA functions; and the school year is very nearly underway in Rockstar's Bully, looking every bit the straight-As student whatever the humourless whale-huggers think.

Finally, the latest in a long line of spoof teasers for Ubi's forthcoming Wii title Rayman Raving Rabbids - this week offering up a parody of Metal Gear Solid as the dancing bunnies attempt to gatecrash the Games Convention. And if you think that box they're hiding in looks snug, you should have seen our hotel room.
