One more TOCA on current gen?

Next gen to lead on X360.

Codemasters studio head Gavin Raeburn has said he would like to see one more iteration of the TOCA Race Driver series on current generation consoles, but the company does plan to move it over to the next generation, starting with Xbox 360, in due course.

Speaking in an interview with Eurogamer published today, Raeburn said: "I would like to see another TOCA on the current generation, but this will not stop us developing for next gen at the same time."

Asked whether the series would lead on Xbox 360, which is expected to launch before the end of the year, he said: "Yes it will, but we do not have a fixed date for this yet."

Elsewhere in the interview, Raeburn discussed the myriad technical changes that have brought TOCA Race Driver 3 up to speed with the competition, delved into the game's twin cores of arcade and simulation, and also commented on the difficulty of translating the company's previous title to PlayStation Portable.
