Blizzard has revealed a few more details of forthcoming tactical action game, StarCraft: Ghost for PS2, Xbox and GameCube.

First up is the news that the game will feature a new multiplayer mode called Capture the Base, where two teams of four players battle for control of a flying Terran base. Like all the multiplayer modes, it'll be playable online via Xbox Live or for PS2.

New vehicles are promised, along with old favourites that will be familiar to StarCraft fans, plus impressive special effects, huge 3D environments and a complex storyline.

StarCraft: Ghost is being developed by Swingin' Ape Studios, recently bought out by World of Warcraft creator Blizzard.
