Asheron's Call 2 worlds "consolidated"

Synergistically challenged.

Microsoft has released a lengthy and utterly dull press release which attempts to outline the one single fact that Asheron's Call 2's compliment of worlds is soon to be stripped from nine down to four. We're not quite sure why the action is being taken, but IGN has suggested that it's simply due to the fact that the game isn't expanding as well as its creators might have hoped. If you want to wade through the technicalities and find out what the implications might be for you as a player, then have a read of the release yourself over at IGN, but hell's bells it's boring.
