Super Monkey Ball Deluxe confirmed for Europe

300 stages, 18 mini-games (yes, including six new additions) and lots of other monkeying around. Bananas.

Although it's just a formality at this point, it's nevertheless nice to see SEGA Europe officially confirming that Super Monkey Ball Deluxe will be released across Europe in spring 2005 on PS2 and Xbox.

SMB Deluxe, announced around a month ago, is a compilation package, featuring stages from both GameCube-exclusive Monkey Ball games, and then some. In all there'll be 300 stages - 114 from SMB1, 140 from SMB2, and 46 exclusive additions. Although neither the PS2 or Xbox version will feature online play, all 12 party and mini-games will make the transition, along with six new additions, and there will also be a new Challenge Mode.

The game is likely to be released at a budget price point. SEGA of America plans to launch it Stateside for $29.95, and our retail sources in the UK indicate that we can expect to pay £19.99 or at most £29.99 for the game over here.
