Counter-Strike has joined UT2003, Unreal Tournament and America's Army on the Ultimate Arena service on which players play for cash. It's sort of like gambling for geeks. Currently around 10,000 players have been competing on the service, but the announcement of Counter-Strike competitions is sure to bolster the numbers considerably.
