Unreal II on Xbox confirmed

An Xbox version of Unreal II is definitely underway, and will be released in Europe during November, an Atari spokesman confirmed this morning.

Overnight several websites picked up on EBGames' and GameStop's respective listings for the title, and these do now appear to be genuine, listing the US release date as September 12th.

Unreal II: The Awakening was released on the PC some time ago and we thought it was pretty good, if a little uninspired and soulless in places. There's no word on what's changed for the Xbox port, although apparently it "wasn't ready" for a public showing at E3 last month.
