Play Rainbow Six 4 before anyone else!

Ubisoft plans a community day to showcase the game. You can sign up for a random drawing, and we'll pick three of our own readers to head along from amongst people who comment on this thread.

Ubisoft is offering the gamers of Great Britain the opportunity to play Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown on PlayStation 2 for a whole day next week.

All right, so not exactly "before anyone else" - we've got it in the lounge, you know - but certainly before anybody else you generally queue alongside on the high street. And before your mates, which is the important thing.

Fans of the series are invited to answer a simple question and join a prize draw from which the publisher will randomly select people to come along to the event at Sony Europe's Soho offices in central London on 26th February. You'll very probably find more info on the forums at UK.PlayStation.com, but in all honesty we're linking it because we were asked to. And we're nice.

And, since we're quite chummy with Ubi, we've also been given the chance to select three of our own readers to skip the queue and go along. All you have to do to qualify for our own mini prize draw is post a comment on this thread. We'll pick three winners based on the registered usernames and inform you via email if you're chosen.

It should be noted the comments which are insightful and/or are not insults directed at specific members of staff could well be given preferential treatment.

In addition to single-player games, those attending will be able to take part in two-on-two and four-on-four multiplayer modes - and there'll be a large four-on-four tournament with some prizes to be won too.

To find out more and sign up for the Lockdown Gamers Day, head over to Ubisoft's website here.

The full game is due out on PS2, Xbox and PC at the end of March.
