Call of Duty mapmaking competition

Graphics cards, LA trips - you want these things.

Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward is inviting fans to download a level-editing toolset for its World War II themed first-person shooter and submit their finest hour's work by March 26th in order to stand a chance of winning top end PC hardware and a trip round the developer's LA studio.

Full details and T&Cs are available at the Call of Duty Mapmaker Competition website, which says that up to three submissions can be made, and that the maps will be judged by folks from Infinity Ward itself. As for the prize - if an all-expenses-paid trip to Infinity Ward's LA studio isn't enough for you, there's also the small matter of an Asylum GeForce FX 5950 Ultra-based graphics card. Presumably they went for this because COD still doesn't work on my Radeon 9700 Pro [let it go -Rob].

Oh, and if your map is good enough, it may even wind up on a future Call of Duty disc. Not bad! Budding map makers head this way.
