Heroes of the Pacific demo

Now available on Eurofiles.

A new demo for Heroes of the Pacific, Codemasters' new World War II PC dogfighter, is now available for download.

It includes three single-player missions set in Pearl Harbour, Wake Island and the Marshall Islands, plus a multiplayer map to boot. You can climb into the cockpit of the Corsair F4U-4, the PF38F-15 and the Tempest MkII in the single-player missions, and fly the Japanese Zero A6M2, the Raiden J2M2, the FW-190A-8 and the Frank KI-84-1A in multiplayer.

The full game features 26 missions - all based on real events - and more than 35 planes, and you'll be able to see up to 150 aircraft in the sky at any one time. The PS2 and Xbox versions feature splitscreen multiplayer, and up to eight opponents can play the game online.

Heroes of the Pacific is out on PC, PS2 and Xbox on September 9.
