UK Charts: Tiger holed in at No.1

Electronic Arts' Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 clocks up a second week at the top of the UK sales charts this week, while there are new top ten entries for Codemasters' Club Football and the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved.
Club Football is an interesting new entry in the chart, as in fact some 17 versions of the game have been created - with nine versions of the game being the "priority" titles for Codemasters at UK retail. Each version features broadly the same game, but is individually branded and features unique content related to the club it's attached to.
According to Codemasters, the most popular title in the range so far has been Manchester United Club Football, followed in order by the Arsenal, Liverpool, Rangers and Celtic editions of the game. It's not known how well each game edition has fared individually, however.
The other new entry in the top ten - and the only other major new release of the week - was the PC version of Microsoft's Xbox smash hit, Halo: Combat Evolved, which was ported to the PC by Gearbox Studios. It debuted at number eight this week, marking a return to the top ten for a title which was a regular feature of that ranking for much of the year.
There's not a lot of action elsewhere in the charts; Eye Toy: Play and Conflict Desert Storm II both climb back up within the top ten, rising to third and fourth position respectively, while Namco's Soul Calibur II continues to sell strongly, down to number five this week.
The highest ranked Xbox title in the charts is Tiger Woods PGA Tour, although the highest ranked Xbox exclusive title is Knights of the Old Republic at number 26. Similarly the GameCube's top ranked title is Soul Calibur II, with its highest ranked exclusive being WWE Wrestlemania XIX - which doesn't make it into the top 40, despite the boost to Cube sales this week thanks to the price cut.
