A Crash of sanity

Nothing to do with the new film.

A new 3D action game is being lined-up for PC, Xbox and PSP, called Crash Dummy vs. the evil D-Troit. Hmm.

Coming from Schanz International Consultants (SIC) and Italian development Studio Twelve Interactive, we're told to expect a "funny, non-violent action game full of special effects". The aim is to take control of a character called - wait for it - Crash Dummy, and save his best friend and all the other innocent dummies out there. "How?" you're probably not asking. Why, by fighting across an interactive environment against evil prototypes dummies, of course! Crash Dummy will be able to move cases, throw barrels, climb walls, swim and use weapons like the Liquid-Bazooka (that really should be trademarked) to freeze, glue or burn the bad dummies. Didn't they say, "non violent"?

While we're at a surreal point of seemingly no return, does anyone remember that cartoon, The Incredible Crash Dummies? Anyone? It has nothing to do with this game whatsoever. But we thought we'd just ask. Quick, look at the screenshots and pretend we're on topic.

There's currently no release date for Crash Dummy vs. the evil D-Troit. Ooohooo. We see what they did there.
