SCEE has officially announced the release of Arc: Twilight of the Spirits (which has already scored fairly well Stateside) in January 2004, as well sending along some nice-looking shots. Players will apparently utilise 14 different characters throughout the 60-odd hours of gameplay, including the game's main protagonists Darc and Kharg. On their "epic" journey to retrieve the Great Spirit Stones - the only thing that can restore peace to their land - players will of course end up involved in a spot of ruckus, which is where the game's turn-based battle system will come into play. We'll let you know what we think when we get our hands on some code.
Performance drops are noticeable - but the overall experience is unmissable.
Sticking to its guns.
