Battlefield 2 demo

Play against other EGers!

A new demo for Digital Illusions' Battlefield 2, the sequel to hit PC shooter Battlefield 1942, is now available on Eurofiles.

And what's more, thanks to top class hosters Jolt, there's now a Eurogamer server for the demo running on 195.149.21.74 - and some of your favourite forumites are already playing. Go get 'em. [Cheers, Bertie! - Ed]

In case you didn't know, Battlefield 2 offers you the chance to play as either China, the US or the Middle East as you fight for global supremacy, armed with the latest in modern weaponry and more than 30 high-tech vehicles.

Along with a single player game that sees you rising up the ranks all the way to Commander, there are online multiplayer battles for more than 64 players at a time.

Battlefield 2 is out on June 24.
