EverQuest 2 slips to 2004

And other Ubi dates.

Ubi Soft's latest release schedule reveals that EverQuest 2 has slipped from its planned release date of December 5th, a date that we felt represented its last chance to appear during 2003, and will now appear in January.

At least, barring any further slippage it will.

Also this week Ubi Soft has moved the GameCube version of XIII forward. Its PS2, Xbox and PC brethren are due out on October 31st, and now the Cube port is set for November 14th. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see it tumble back towards December at some point.

Other titles with slightly new dates this week include the Xbox version of Pirates of the Caribbean, now set for release on the same day as Xbox Clancy title Island Thunder - September 5th, with Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword due out on October 3rd.
