Despite the show finally coming to an end (thank you God), Vivendi has announced the development of a new Buffy the Vampire Slater title for PS2, Xbox and GameCube. Buffy the Vampire Slater: Chaos Bleeds will be developed by Eurocom and is slated for release in August.

The game looks set to predictably be another action-adventure jobby, but then again we can't really see the license taking any other form. Developed as a "lost episode" from season five of the television series, Chaos Bleeds will see players controlling their choice of character from Faith, Willow, Xander, Spike and Sid the Dummy, as well as Buffy, natch.
